Sucessful start to netball season

The netball Term 2 and 3 season has started successfully with all 14 teams having a positive presence in the SACSSGSA competition.

By the end of Round 2, SHC have only lost one game to another school across all grades. This is an outstanding start to the season. Well done to our students and coaches on what is shaping up to be a great year of netball.

Thank you to all the parents/caregivers and volunteers who time or score matches. I know that the coaches really appreciate your help on match day.

The new uniforms look great and the feedback has been very positive. Year 10 students are encouraged to purchase the new uniform so that they will get a three year wear out of it. All students will be required to wear the new netball uniform by 2019.

SSSSA Knockout Netball matches are scheduled to be played this term. Our first match for the Year 10 Pool A was against Mercedes College. We utilised the Saturday morning draw to play this match on Saturday 27 May at St Michael's College at 8.10am. Despite a great start to this game, SHC were defeated by Mercedes 37-27. The first SSSSA Knockout game for the Open Pool A grade is to be played against Murray Bridge and Cornerstone College at Cornerstone College, Mt Barker on Monday 5 June. Our first match is at 11.15am against Murray Bridge and the second at 12.45pm against Cornerstone College. Come on down and cheer on our girls!
