Netball Report

Hitting the midway point of the 2017 netball season, Sacred Heart College is again being well represented by our students across all levels of competition. All of the teams are performing very well with three teams undefeated and several with only one loss to their record.

It has been pleasing to see the College's Code of Conduct being supported by both players and parents. It is also nice to see so many parents supporting their children at the various venues across Adelaide. I know that the coaches are very appreciative of parent support and their willingness to help with scoring, timing and providing those much loved half-time oranges!

The Year 10 A1 team and the Open A1 team have both been involved in the SSSSA Knockout competition. Round 1 saw the Year 10 A1 team played Mercedes College during the normal Saturday fixtures. SHC performed admirably in wet and slippery conditions, but ultimately went down to a very determined Mercedes team.

The Open A1 team play a round robin competition against Cornerstone College and Murray Bridge High School. Sacred Heart defeated both teams convincingly and move through to the next round against Golden Grove at Golden Grove. We wish them luck!
