Senior School Parent Portal (Issue 11 2017)

Written on the 3 August 2017

As we begin a new semester, parents of students at the Senior School are reminded that they can be kept up to date with their child's progress through the Parent Portal. The portal utilises Edumate - the College's web based school management system.

The Parent Portal allows parents to:

  • view the due dates for all upcoming summative student tasks
  • view the results for each summative task
  • view academic reports
  • view student absences
  • view the College calendar.

All parents are reminded that they need to complete a one-off registration process in order to gain access to the portal. Parents who have already completed this process simply need to log in to gain access to all the available features.
The following short video runs through the registration process.

Registering for the Parent Portal

The activation process will require parents to use the same email address that has been given to the College for communication purposes.

To register for access to the Parent Portal simply click on the following link:
http://www.shc.sa.edu.au/senior/parent-portal-register-for-access.html

Alternatively, visit the College website and click on the Senior School option. In the left hand menu of the Senior School page choose the Parent Portal link, then Register for access.

If you experience any issues with the registration process, please email IT Support: it_support@shc.sa.edu.au.

Once parents have completed the registration process, access to the Parent Portal can be achieved by using this link: https://portal.shc.sa.edu.au/

Alternatively, navigate to the Senior School page on the College Website, select Parent Portal from the menu on the left and then select Login.

Please Note:

  • Parents who have already registered are not required to re-register
  • Depending on the web browser you are using you may be prompted with a security warning. It is important to 'trust' or 'enable' the Edumate website.
