This year Marymount have continued their involvement in the Basketball SA Mini Ball competition on Monday afternoons at Marion Stadium. Terms 1/4 saw two teams under the guidance of Fiona Kerrish, Monique McCulloch and Shane Kennedy and Terms 2/3 the combined team put up a strong fight against some tough mixed competition. Congratulations the the following girls who have been a part of these teams throughout the year: Annie Belding, Anjie Bogatec, Sophie Bond, Sienna Burford, Kiera Daibes, Sienna de Laine, Taylor Doak, Malia Gabb, Brooke Kennedy, Tully Kerrish, Felicity McCulloch, Ella Meredith, Madalyn Petruzella, Addi Snell, Aysha Snell, Lily Stalker, Keeley Stallard, Olivia Tierney, Hayley Truesdale and Maddi Wilson.

Congratulations to our SAPSASA Basketball Team who played in the State Knockout Carnival in July Morphett Vale. They were one game off making the Statewide final. Thank you to coach William Good whose knowledge and expertise was invaluable on the day and to the parent scorers Cherie Wilson and Fiona Kerrish. Well done to our team: Grace Bates, Sienna Burford, Taylor Doak, Emma Evans, Tully Kerrish, Keeley Stallard, Bella Viljoen and Maddi Wilson.

Year 8/9
Saturday Morning

In the Catholic School Girls Competition, two teams of keen basketballers have been making their way to St Michaels and Cabra every Saturday morning, demonstrating some excellent skills and playing in some fierce competition. Thank you to Richard Surynt for coaching the 9A girls and Jay Pozniak from the Middle School for coaching our 7-9 C Grade Team.

The team have earned their spot in the State Knockout Finals Day on Wednesday 14 November, after big wins over Brighton Secondary and Adelaide High. The girls have demonstrated outstanding skills in their wins and we wish them well for the finals. Thank you to Kristin Ward and William Good who have coached the girls in their winning matches. Good luck to our team: Sophie Allen, Annalise Bourke, Chloe Dumesny, Grace Gwiazdinski, Laura Sargent Llewelyn Secker, Taylah Stallard and Charlotte Surynt.
