Simon Matthews Cup
The Open Boys 1st XI soccer team managed to finish off their most successful season ever with a win over the SHOCS 1st XI in the Simon Matthews Cup. It was a very competitive match with the final result only determined in the last few minutes of the game. The game was played in great spirits with a large crowd in attendance watching the skills of both teams.

The 1st XI won 2 - 1 with the MVP going to Nick Harpas.
The 2nd XI won 5-2 with the MVP  going to Luka Jordine.

The relationship with the SHOCS is continuing to grow and is a pathway for our students who wish to continue playing soccer when they have finished at Sacred Heart.

Year 10 Knockout
The team managed to win their first round matches against Henley High and Hallett Cove to qualify for the semi finals held at the Parks Stadium. The first semi final was against Trinity and although we started off slow, being down 2-0 in the first half, the boys were more competitive in the second half. Although having more shots on goal, they went down 1-2. In the 3rd vs 4th playoff, the team started off strong against Underdale - it was quite a physical match! The boys managed to win 3-2.
