Bullying. NO WAY! (Issue 4 2017)
Written on the 23 March 2017
The seventh annual National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence was held on Friday 17 March 2017. The day was an opportunity for all Australian schools to highlight their everyday work to counter bullying and violence.
At the Middle School students engaged in a range of activities throughout the week which included class discussions based on short video clips provided by the organisation, Bullying. No Way! On Friday 17 March each class signed a pledge to show their support in working towards respectful relationships amongst their peers and community. The library also supported this week by providing a number of books on the topic of safe and respectful friendships.
At Sacred Heart College we aim to create a safe and supportive school community for everyone.
