Term 1 Canoeing & Kayaking
It has been a great start to the year with the boys paddling canoes and kayaks on the Patawalonga Lake at Glenelg and in the lower section of Brownhill Creek this term. They have progressed well with their paddling skill and strength.
As a special treat, the boys and their families were able to paddle in the Port River at West Lakes under my guidance and we were privileged to paddle with five dolphins in the Port River and saw much of the heritage marine precinct like the One and All, Birkenhead Bridge, Falie, City of Adelaide, etc. It was a lot of fun and the large group of 24 thoroughly enjoyed the leisurely paddle. We will definitely do this again!
