Christmas Hamper Appeal
Farewell and Thank You
I acknowledge each learner for the contributions they have made to the College this year. A tremendous amount of learning, along with an enormous range of activities beyond the classroom, have taken place this year and I congratulate you all on your efforts in building the community and family spirit.
We have many staff who are leaving us at the end of the year to head to new and exciting experiences. I thank each and every one of them for the contributions they've made to the lives of the students and the Ccollege during their time at Sacred Heart. On behalf of the wider school community, I congratulate the following staff on their recent appointments and wish them every blessing as they begin a new chapter in the educational careers.
I also wish the following staff all the very best as they continue their teaching careers in 2019: Lucy Pickering, Cameron Hext, Justine DeCorso, Madeleine Hayes, Heath Varts, Emmalee Leaning and Vicki Hogg. We thank and farewell Jane Common and Maureen Watts who have been sharing the role of Receptionist in 2018.
I would like to conclude by thanking the learners, staff and wider community of Sacred Heart College Middle School for the understanding and support they've shown through a year of significant change! The campus has undergone significant building works this year and the flexibility, resilience and cooperation shown by both staff and students has been outstanding. All year we've talked about 'short term pain for long term gain' and I look forward to sharing the long term gain of the new Champagnat Campus with you all in 2019.
Wishing you all a safe and happy Christmas and pray that you will have time to connect with family, friends and the important people in your lives this Christmas.
