Old Scholar and Past Staff Member Evening
Recently, Old Scholars and Past Staff Members gathered in the Polding Centre to reminisce and share stories of their time at Marymount. For many, it was a chance to reconnect with old friends and teachers, whom they have not seen for quite some time. The evening saw the launch of our 'Marymount Story' video. It took us on a trip down memory lane and captured the essence of Marymount so beautifully. Old Scholars, parents and staff members spoke, with fond memories. They shared of a good place that has remained in close to their hearts.

Time was also spent pursuing the memorabilia from the archives and most importantly sharing in a wine or two with friends from years ago. Laughter filed the room as stories of the good old days were shared and let me tell you, there was a cheeky story or two. The evening was a wonderful success and our Old Scholars and Past Staff Members commented that the Good Samaritan spirit of welcome and hospitality is still very much alive. It was a wonderful celebration of Marymount and a fabulous time was had by all. My thanks go to the wonderful Admin team who made it possible and the teaching staff for their presence and support.

Adamson Wins Again!
The oval was bursting with energy on Friday as we gathered for our final Marymount Sports Day. The House Captains arrived early to decorate tents, they were excited and determined to win. It was wonderful to see House Spirit come alive with our Year 9 students dressing up particularly well for the occasion. The day kicked off with a Heath Hustle led by our MLG - it was lots of fun. Houses erupted into cheers and chants as students marshalled for their first event. It was House Spirit at its best and a wonderful way to begin Sports Day. The day, whilst a little on the warm side, was just wonderful. Student attendance and participation was high. People tried their best and competed for their House. It was a great display of athleticism and sportsmanship.

Adamson were just too strong and took out the Athletics Good Samaritan Shield for a 3rd consecutive time. They just didn't give up, they had maximum participation in every event. Polding took out the Roma Hayward Shield for Team Spirit. They cheered all day! I congratulate our House Captains on their leadership, they were truly outstanding, as were all our Year 9 ambassadors. I would like to thank our Sports Coordinator Alex Tilley and her assistant Tracey Tappscott, for their leadership in organising this important community event. I also extend my gratitude to the parent volunteers, without you Sports Day would not be possible. Many families came in support; it was great to see you there. Sports Day is always a highlight and this year was no exception.
