Marymount was recently given the opportunity to take part in a worthy cause and show our support for an organisation called Herd of Hope. Herd of Hope is an organisation centred around providing people in rural areas of Australia with organ transplants, nurses to follow up the surgery so that they don't have to relocate to the city. In addition to this, they also provide counselling for loved ones of people who have passed away due to organ failure.
This organisation will be holding an event to raise awareness for this. To support this, the Marymount community took this opportunity to show their support and decorate 10 of the cow cut-outs which will be included in the parade alongside 40 real life cows to walk down Bondi Beach.
This was an great opportunity to get involved and raise awareness in our community.
