Outstanding Marymount Individual Achievements (Issue 5 2018) Sport

Congratulations to Emily Brookes (Year 7) who recently competed at the Australian Pool Rescue Championships at the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre. With her partner, Emily won a gold medal in the Under 12 Line Throw. Emily is part of the Glenelg Surf Lifesaving Club.
Congratulations to Jessica Owens (Year 7) who also recently competed at the Australian Pool Rescue Championships at the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre. With her partner, Jessica won a silver medal in the Line Throw. Jessica is part of the Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club.
Congratulations to Mackenzie van der Jeugd (Year 8) who has been selected in the Under 15's State Touch Football Team who will compete in Tasmania later this year.
Congratulations to Natasha Allison (Year 9) who received third place for the SANFL Juniors Under 16 girls (Zone 3) Medal Count "2018 Best and Fairest". Natasha plays club football for Morphettville Park and was presented with her award on 13 August at the West Torrens Football Club. We hope to see you play in the AFLW one day Natasha!
Congratulations to Eloise Rowe (Year 9), Abby Thorne (Year 11) and Bronwyn McLeod (MC Teacher) - winners are grinners! They formed part of the Lacrosse State League Premier team, Brighton, who defeated Woodville 9-10 earlier this week. While Bronwyn is the Captain, Eloise was the winning goal scorer - well done girls!
