Outstanding Senior School Individual Achievements (Issue 5 2018) Sport

Written on the 20 September 2018

Congratulations to Jesse Moore (Year 10) who has again been selected in the National Junior Squad. Jesse is currently ranked Australia's #1 junior gymnast, despite being only 15 years old. Among his many achievements this year, Jesse's next international competition will be in Houston USA in January, followed by the World Junior Championships in Hungary in June 2019. We wish you all the best Jesse!

We wish Ella Sibley (Year 11) well as she travels to Bunbury in WA, to compete in the National Road Cycling Championships this weekend, representing South Australia.

Congratulations to Connor Read (Year 12) who recently competed in the New Zealand Golden Gloves Boxing tournament in Lake Taupo, where he won the National Title in the 60kg division. Connor also recently competed in the Australian Golden Gloves Boxing tournament in Brisbane, in which he won the National Title in the 56kg division, making him the current Australasian Golden Gloves champion. Well done Connor!
