Camp activities are designed so that from year to year the boys are asked to be more independent of staff, and more dependent on themselves and others. We try to extend the demands on their physical endurance and help them to accept challenges in well supervised situations. These experiences are considered to be very important in the development of social and emotional maturity, as well as in leadership training. Thus, they are a compulsory component of the curriculum.
In 2017 the following camps will take place:
Year 6: Orientation Camp, Wellington
Year 7: Camp Canberra, Canberra and Mittagong
Year 8: Camp, Hindmarsh Island
Year 9: Camp Flinders, Bendleby Ranges (The Rite Journey focus)
