Sacred Heart College Foundation Inc.
The Sacred Heart College Foundation was established in 1989 with a focus to enhance the rich and vibrant traditions of Sacred Heart College Senior. The Foundation provides financial support to the College via donations and other financial support from current and past parents, Old Scholars and friends of the school community.
The aim of the Foundation is to develop friendships within the broader school community through functions and activities.
The Foundation is also responsible for the annual giving campaign, reunions, archival requests, publication of Heartbeat, maintenance of the database and provides assistance to the Sacred Heart Old Collegians Association with their database, administration and publication of the Blue & Blue.
An Annual General Meeting is held each year which all members of the community are welcome to attend.
Since its inception in 1989 the Foundation has supported the following projects:-
- SHC Senior Boarding House Stage 2
- SHC Senior Boarding House Stage 4
- SHC Hospitality Centre
- Relocation of Marymount College
- SHC Middle School Performing Arts Centre
- SHC Senior Performing Arts Centre
- Marcellin Learning Centre
- Extension to Girls Boarding House
- Refurbishment of SHC Senior Science Labs
The Foundation offers a benefit to the recipient of the Champagnat Award at the Middle School and also to a Year 11 student at the Senior School. For further information on the Bursaries, please refer to the Bursary Policy on the website.
