- Technical Support Officer

The Technical Support Officer provides assistance and support to the staff and students of the Technology Learning Area. The Technical Support Officer will ensure the staff and students of Design and Technology subjects are resourced, supported and assisted as needed. They will order resources, prepare for practical lessons, provide in-class assistance during practical lessons, clean and maintain areas and classrooms, maintain tools and equipment and ensure the safety and organisation of all spaces in the Technology Learning Area.

- Aboriginal Education Program (AEP) Support Officer
- Marcellin Campus, Somerton Park (Years 10 – 12)
- Permanent ESO – Grade 3
- 22.5 to 37.5 hours per week (negotiable)
- 40 weeks per year (time off during all school holiday breaks)
The Aboriginal Education Program (AEP) Support Officer will work closely with the Aboriginal Education Coordinator, Head of Marcellin Campus, and other relevant staff in order to provide support to the Aboriginal students of Marcellin Campus (Years 10-12). The AEP Support Officer will provide students within the Aboriginal Education Program (AEP) with support in the classroom with their studies, as well as support with cultural, school and personal matters.

- Literacy Coach
- Champagnat Campus, Mitchell Park (Years 7 to 9)
- Commencing in January 2026
- Permanent 1.00 FTE substantive teaching position, 3 year tenured appointment, POR 2
- The Literacy Coach will teach one line and will work both within the classroom and outside of them to support teachers. Their role includes in-class modelling, team-teaching, observation, and feedback, as well as dedicated time for planning, preparation, and leadership of literacy initiatives.
he primary function of a Literacy Coach is to work in consultation with the Director of Teaching and Learning to build the capacity of all staff to teach literacy. In addition, the Literacy Coach works to implement literacy initiatives to improve student outcomes at Champagnat Campus.
The work of the Literacy Coach is underpinned by the following four statements:
- Literacy skills are fundamental for all students
- All teachers are teachers of literacy
- Systems and processes are aligned
- Teachers are data literate
The Literacy Coach also works to implement literacy initiatives to improve student outcomes, as measured by Year 9 NAPLAN. The Literacy Coach collaborates with Champagnat Leadership Team (CLT) to develop and review annual literacy targets.

- Learning Enrichment Tutor trained in Personal Care Support
- Primarily Marcellin Campus, Somerton Park (Years 10-12)
- Permanent
- ESO – Grade 3 + Personal Care Allowance and Designated First Aid Allowance
- 37.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
The primary function of the Learning Enrichment Tutor trained in Personal Care Support is to facilitate tutorial and in-class support for students who require additional support. The role will be responsible for providing learning support for students identified to require this, such as students with disabilities, additional or special needs, English as an Additional Language (EAL), or considered to be ‘at risk’. The Learning Enrichment Tutor trained in Personal Care Support will also provide personal care such as, but not limited to, continence care, oral eating and drinking support and facilitate transfer and positioning according to the needs of individual students.
The role will also provide support to the Director of Learning Enrichment. Experience or training in support of students with Autism will be considered advantageous. The successful applicant will be required to attend personal care support training.
